If you scroll back into the annals of Token Chic (remember 2010? check out my full bright earrings),  one of the first skin makers I really became attached to was a shop called Mynerva.
I love their skins.  There’s something pure, simple and fresh about them, and bare enough for really subtle makeup layers.

Unfortunately, the shop had closed a few years back, and after that I moved on to an extremely long Mother Goose phase.

One thing I never took off though, were the freckles and brows that came with some of those Mynerva skins.
They’re a tattoo layer that became a permanent fixture on my face for oh…the last six years.
They went on top of nearly every skin I wore, and still do.

So, when I saw Mynerva had a skin at the skin fair, I was definitely happy to see them back.

The Arcade is full of fun things that make you smile, of course.

Also, I got a new computer. So, that’s always nice, isn’t it?
There’s a sense of immersion you lose when constantly dealing with tech issues inworld, and it’s really nice to have that back.

p.s  Thanks to the person willing to part with their shrimp tempura in the name of art.  I needed that shrimp tempura.

Hello! I thought I’d give a quick update, since it’s been a little while.

The holidays, visiting parents, and two of my favorite game franchises (Yakuza and Fallout) had releases that have been soaking up my free time.  And then Making a Murderer happened, and I’ve been sucked down that rabbit hole…

Gemini

This is something really neat.
These are far off-sim planets, part of a new set of moons and planets by Landscapes Unlimited.
I’ve always used their landscapes and sim surrounds to create instant environments, so I was excited to see this.
The set comes with something like 15 moons and planets, each with options.  With advanced lighting enabled, you really get the spherical depth and perspective of a planet/moon in your sky.
This is something that I’ve never seen available in SL, and it’s definitely fun to play with.
